The Chamber is an association of business people-working together to make Pine Ridge Area a better place in which to live, work, and raise a family.
A voluntary non-profit corporation whose purpose is to create, sustain and enhance Indian owned businesses, therefore improving the quality of life on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Applying the Lakota values of Honesty, Wisdom, Respect, Courage, Fortitude, Responsibility, and Generosity to the economic setting.
The Chamber of Commerce appreciates both new and existing businesses in the Pine Ridge Reservation area, as well as our neighbors who live among us. While we support all businesses, there are many benefits of joining in partnership with us. We sponsor many events in our community and whenever possible, patronize business members for door prizes, supplies, and materials. Obviously, we promote the Pine Ridge Reservation not only the community and surrounding areas, but regional and nationally as well. We receive numerous calls each day requesting information and recommendations. As a Chamber member, we promote your business and your town in our responses to those requests at every opportunity.
The pow-wow is a traditional wacipi honoring our community members and traditional ceremonies. Many naming ceremonies, the making of relatives and the wiping of tears as well as honoring the accomplishments of extended family and community members. A special memorial will be held in honor of late Cheryl Two Bulls Between Lodges. Donations canRead More
